The Vision in Education Award was established by the Alliance for Character in Education in 1998 to honor individuals who have influenced the growth and development of The Willows Academy and Northridge Preparatory School in providing character-based education rooted in the Catholic tradition. The Alliance salutes those individuals who have demonstrated a deep commitment to aid parents in fulfilling their role as the primary educators of their children's moral, social, intellectual and spiritual lives. Through their personal and professional lives, our Vision in Education Award recipients reflect the profound religious dimension of the schools, entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei.
