Vision in Education Award Dinner
This award was established in 1998 to honor individuals who have influenced the growth and development of The Willows Academy and Northridge Prep in providing character based education rooted in the Catholic tradition. The Alliance salutes those individuals who have demonstrated a deep commitment to aid parents in fulfilling their role as the primary educators of their children’s moral, social, intellectual and spiritual lives.
The net proceeds of the Vision in Education Award Dinner are used to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students who otherwise would be unable to attend our schools: more than 26% of our students receive financial aid.

Willows/Northridge Scholarship Golf Outing
Parents, and alumni come out to enjoy the beautiful weather, stellar competition, games, and a delicious buffet dinner. Awards and a raffle, which have included items such as a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Chicago and Chicago Bears tickets, add to the festivities.
The proceeds of the event (over $25,000) support The Willows and Northridge Scholarship Funds by providing financial aid to deserving students.

Family Fest Picnic
Parents and children from Northridge, The Willows and Embers celebrate the return to school with the annual Family Fest Picnic on the grounds of Maryville Academy in Des Plaines.
Hot dogs and fried chicken are enjoyed as are the many games, including the big Tug-O-War event . |

Holiday Prelude
The Arts and Sciences are the big winners at the Annual Holiday Prelude held at the Crystal Palace in Park Ridge. Over 350 participants enjoy cocktails, camaraderie and cuisine while bidding on silent and live auction items. Early Christmas shoppers help to raise $ 75,000 to support classroom improvements.
The event truly produces a “double blessing”: the person who received the Christmas gift you purchase and the men and women of Northridge Prep and The Willows Academy who benefited from your generosity. |
